On Saturday I was at Showbiz in Cresta, looking for party costumes or accessories. Some of the products there are refreshingly cheap, but one can tell that the manufacturers never bothered to hire an English-speaker.

For example...

This costume is a pirate costume (based on observation of other costumes; "Prites" is the type of costume, not a brand name). Fortunately, it comes with toga and collar...

Then there's a costume to turn one into a geek:

Notably, each kit of tooth thing of the big in simpleton.

These costumes can be used at common events where one would normally be expected to wear such costumes, like All Saint's Day, Dionysia, and Easter Sunday. They also give you the infinite vital force - what a bargain!

Yup, I think this was translated by the people whose work I'm currently copyediting. :)

Dionysia? :O I had no idea the Religio Romana people were numerous enough to make Halloween costumes for...

Thought you wouldn't need a kit for people to recognise you as a geek, y/y?

I know there's at least one "engrish" site out there.. by that I mean websites dedicated to showing us english speakers really egregious examples. You might find it amusing to search for such :)
