A red hot poker in the eyeball

claidheamhmorI know what true pain is. Not the first time either.
This morning my contact lens was bugging me, so I took it out and rinsed it in solution. Sadly, instead of using the nice friendly Solo cleaning solution, I chose the Aosept cleaning solution. Aosept is a great cleaning solution; that's because it's a hydrogen peroxide solution. Hydrogen peroxide in the eye feels a lot like hydrochloric acid (yes, I know what that feels like). It feels a lot like I imagine a red hot poker in the eye feels like.
My eye has been blood red all day. Ouch.
