This was sad to see.

Vintage B-17 Flying Fortress crashes with seven people aboard
The seven people on board were all OK; those B-17s had a reputation for bringing crews back.

Amazing that the crew walked away from it. I wonder if this would have been the case for a b52.

Ohhh man, that is so sad...

I love these old warbirds, especially the heavy bombers. Funny, I always preferred them to the fighters...

I'm glad the crew was safe, which as you said is another testament to their reputation.
