The Bad Astronomer posted an article mentioning links to Science and Religion surveys. Fairly interesting, especially if you read the stats afterwards.

Here they are:
Science quiz
Religion quiz

I got 15/15 for the science quiz, and 14/15 for the religion quiz (I got the last question wrong).

Heh. I got the same scores as you did, except that I went wrong on the question about teachers being allowed to read from the Bible as an example of literature.

Seriously, though, the science quiz was ridiculously easy. That the average score isn't better is pretty scary. (But then, I once read some stats for Russia that claimed 40% of Russians believe the sun revolves around the earth. Which, if true, is scarier still.)

Thing is, I knew all the answers except one well before there was an Internet, and the remaining one (fracking) I picked up from the newspapers. Learned most of it either at school or from general reading and such.

(Some of it I learned from TV, if you can believe it. More on that in a blog post...)

11/15 on religion, should have been higher but I think supreme court rulings kinda don't belong in that particular quiz.

Did the science on the other day, got 14/15.
